The reformer studio
A row of reformers under the slatted timber canopy, open on three sides. Spring resistance, a moving carriage, and an instructor close enough to change your setup mid-repetition.

Classes
Small groups led by expert instructors, enough people for energy, few enough that you get corrected by name.
The classes
Reformer and mat run throughout the week, at every level from first-timer to long-time practitioner. Same method, different amount of help from the machine.

A row of reformers under the slatted timber canopy, open on three sides. Spring resistance, a moving carriage, and an instructor close enough to change your setup mid-repetition.

Straps, footbar and springs, worked slowly. The load is small and the control is the whole point, which is why an hour of it leaves you feeling longer rather than emptied.

The studio sits in the trees with the bay beyond it. Shade overhead, air moving through, and none of the mirrored box a Pilates class usually happens in.
